A few words about the sculptor's daughter

In one of the greenest areas of Brisbane, there is a cozy house with a wonderful garden overlooking a small stream overgrown with water lilies. The owner of this beautiful and hospitable house is named Galina. She understands and speaks a little Russian. She also has her own sculptural gallery: the house contains more than 150 works by her father, a famous sculptor who came to Australia from Paris in 1951 under the name of George Virine. In fact, his name is Yuri Yezersky, he was the only son of an academician, historian and author of historical books, a member of the USSR Writers' Union Miliy Vikentievich Yezersky. About the amazing life of this man, I wrote an article "The Fate of Yuri Yezersky." I would like to remind readers of Unity about how this outstanding sculptor of the 20th century, who went through the crucible of war and concentration camps, fashioned his life.

    Спасибо большое Наташе за неизменное и страстное стремление пробудить в нас человечность как основу существования! Память - исключительно человеческое качество. Кто-то из великих сказал: я вижу дальше, потому что стою на плечах предков. Мы должны беречь наше прошлое, не забывать его. Господь сказал- Толцыте - и отверзется Вам!
