Более 50 лет открыты двери русской школы при Покровском храме в сиднейском районе Кабраматта. 30 мая состоится красивое событие, на которое приглашают всех любителей русской культуры - Бал выпускников.
The Russian Orthodox Saturday school in Cabramatta does not receive any grants or support from other agencies or organisations.
The parents and teachers do their best to contribute but financially it is beyond their capacity to viably sustain this good work on their own for much longer.
For over 50 years our school has been offering children from the western areas of Sydney and beyond the opportunity to learn the basics of the Russian language, to know more about the orthodox faith, to build strong friendships that sometimes lead to the creation of new families and generally bring members of our community together.
Many previous attendees of our school. after completing their education here, now serve as members of the clergy, hold various roles of community importance and generally, have continued to then independently build on the gems of knowledge, the grains of faith and the community spirit the school had instilled in them taking this far across the country and the world over the many years since the school’s inception.
This fundraising ball, which is usually held once every 2 years to keep the school going, was postponed due to Covid and the school is now truly in need of community support to continue its good work!

-connect with old friends and acquaintances
-celebrate the successful entry into the adult world of our debutantes
-but MOST IMPORTANTLY ensure we can continue to exist!
